Hôtel du Lion Noir (16th C)

Erected at the end of the 16th century by a rich merchant related by mariage to noble Troyes families, on the same site as a building destroyed by the fire of 1559 an don the street that was called, at the time, rue de l’Epicerie.

Its restoration revealed a superb Renaissance sculpted façade under the roughcast.
