Marie, Countess of Champagne, has been asleep for 900 years. She is waiting to be awoken, so that she can finally see her city with its ancient houses, shops and château once again. Follow the countess on her travels through the centre of the city, as she learns about how society and the city's landscape have changed.  (Classroom session followed by a tour of Troyes with a tour guide in costume).

Take a walk in the footsteps of the famous impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir with a tour of the 19th century urban landscape of Troyes.  This tour comes with an accompanying booklet. Optional extra: enjoy some 19th century games, such as hoops, skittles, stilts... and boating!
