  • Harvesting and handling Champagne in Montgueux, the winegrower produces and markets his own vintages from his grapes.
Jean Guérinot champagne is made up of a 6 ha vineyard in operation, the majority of which is in Montgueux. Montgueux, perched on a hill around Troyes is an isolated island in the heart of Champagne whose exceptional terroir allows the production of remarkable chardonnay wines, which gives the town the nickname "Montrachet de la Champagne".

Jean Guérinot Champagne offers for sale raw white white champagnes, a reserve cuvée, bottles of rosé and 2002 vintage champagne.

The domain has been run by the Guérinot family since its foundation in 1982. The current manager, Maxime Guérinot, is the grandson of the founder Jean Guérinot. Maxime, born under the sun on the slopes of Provence from the union of a Champagne winegrower father and an Alsatian mother passionate about oenology, grew up and studied in Alsace, he obtained a BTS Viti-Oeno diploma and then in Burgundy where he obtained a Licence in Vine Science. These trainings allowed him to learn the professions of vine and wine but also to discover, through meetings and professional experiences, many wine-growing regions such as Luxembourg and its hills on the Moselle, Provence and its castles or the prestigious wines of the Côte de Nuits. On the strength of these experiences and this theoretical background, he joined the Montgueux estate where he has been extending the family heritage since 2010 while integrating new techniques and environmental approaches with a view to constant evolution.
