  • Created in 1966 to manage the Saint Catherine's Fair, the Estissac tourist office has broadened its scope of action in the organization of festive events from the outset: large cavalcades & carnivals, themed exhibitions, flowers, Christmas decoration, various achievements reminiscent of the battle of the Catalan fields, creation of a tourist stop on the banks of the river Le Bétrot, theme evenings, editions of leaflets & postcards, regular participation in cider festivals, organization of competitions, construction of equipment for shows, creation of the museum of rural memory, annual meetings with the MARPA.

In 2006, the union took on the intermunicipal stature and thus maintained relations with associations and municipalities in the cantonal territory, and took part in national events (a day in the countryside, heritage days, Telethon, etc.), continued its cultural activities (conferences, music) and organised discovery trips in the department, participates in the twinning links with the Flemish Belgian community of Anzegem, opens & manages an intermunicipal site, hosts associations free of charge at the fair, acquires equipment (loan to associations & communities), contributes to the drafting of various reviews, participates through its festive & cultural activities and promotes the territory.
